त्रिगुणात्मक त्रैमूर्ती दत्त हा जाणा। त्रिगुणी अवतार त्रैलोक्यराणा॥ नेती नेती शब्द न ये अनुमाना। सुरवर मुनिजन योगी समाधि न ये ध्याना॥

Trigunatmak traimurti Datta ha jana, Triguni avatar trailokya-rana. Neti neti shabda na ye anumana, Survar munijan yogi samadhi na ye dhyana.

Know that this Datta is the three-fold Trinity, embodying the three gunas, the incarnation of all three, king of the three worlds. Even the Vedas, saying not this, not this, cannot grasp him; gods, sages and yogis in samadhi cannot reach him in meditation.

Jai Dev Jai Dev Jai Shri Gurudatta, Aarti ovalita harali bhavchinta. Jai Dev Jai Dev.

Victory to Shri Guru Datta! As I wave the aarti, the worries of worldly life are gone.

सबाह्य अभ्यंतरीं तूं एक दत्त। अभाग्यासी कैंची कळेल ही मात॥ पराही परतली तेथें कैंचा हेत। जन्ममरणाचा पुरलासे अंत॥

Sabahya abhyantari tu ek Datta, Abhagyasi kainchi kalel hi maat. Parahi paratali tethe kaincha het, Janma-maranacha puralase anta.

Outside and within, you alone are Datta: how could the unfortunate understand this? There even supreme speech turns back, so what could thought achieve? For me the cycle of birth and death has come to an end.

दत्त येऊनियां उभा ठाकला। सद्भावें साष्टांगें प्रणिपात केला॥ प्रसन्न होऊनि आशीर्वाद दिधला। जन्ममरणाचा फेरा चुकविला॥

Datta yeuniya ubha thakala, Sadbhave sashtange pranipat kela. Prasanna houni aashirvad didhala, Janma-maranacha phera chukavila.

Datta came and stood before me; with true love I prostrated at full length. Pleased, he gave his blessing and freed me from the round of birth and death.

दत्त दत्त ऐसें लागलें ध्यान। हरपलें मन झालें उन्मन॥ मीतूंपणाची झाली बोळवण। एका जनार्दनीं श्रीदत्तध्यान॥

Datta Datta aise lagale dhyan, Harapale man jhale unman. Mitupanachi jhali bolavan, Eka Janardani Shri-Datta-dhyan.

Meditating Datta, Datta, the mind dissolved and went beyond itself. The sense of I and you was sent away. Eka, disciple of Janardan, is absorbed in Shri Datta.
