A 200-acre ashram in the Texas Hill Country designed as a pilgrimage to Braj, with Radha Krishna in a 35,000-square-foot temple beneath a 90-foot golden dome.

History

Radha Madhav Dham was established in 1990 as the main American centre of the movement inspired by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, now Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat. It covers more than 200 acres of Hays County, south-west of Austin.

The land was laid out as a memory of Braj, the country of Radha and Krishna: there are places named for Govardhan, Radha Kund, Prem Sarovar and Shyam Kuti, and a stream called Kalindi stands for the Yamuna. The Shree Raseshwari Radha Rani Temple covers about 35,000 square feet beneath its golden dome.
