About the Hari Tum Haro Jan Ki Bheer

Meera calls on Hari to take away the suffering of his people, as he always has: he protected Draupadi's honour by making her sari endless, took the form of Narasimha for Prahlad, and pulled the elephant Gajendra out of the water. Gandhi ji asked for this bhajan to be sung on his birthday in 1947.
