Aarti Shri Ramayan ji ki, Keerati kalit lalit Siy Pi ki.

Aarti to the holy Ramayana, adorned with the lovely glory of Sita's beloved.

गावत ब्रह्मादिक मुनि नारद। बालमीक बिग्यान बिसारद॥ सुक सनकादि सेष अरु सारद। बरनि पवनसुत कीरति नीकी॥

Gaavat Brahmadik muni Narad, Baalmeek bigyaan bisaarad. Suk Sanakaadi Shesh aru Saarad, Barani Pavansut keerati neeki.

Brahma and the gods sing it, as do the sage Narada and Valmiki, master of wisdom; Shuka, Sanaka and his brothers, Shesha and Saraswati too, and Hanuman, son of the Wind, has described its beautiful glory.

गावत बेद पुरान अष्टदस। छओं सास्त्र सब ग्रंथन को रस॥ मुनि जन धन संतन को सरबस। सार अंस संमत सबही की॥

Gaavat Bed Puraan ashtadas, Chhaon saastra sab granthan ko ras. Muni jan dhan santan ko sarbas, Saar ans sammat sabhi ki.

The Vedas and the eighteen Puranas sing it; it is the nectar of the six schools and of all scriptures. It is the wealth of sages and the all-in-all of saints, the essence that all of them accept.

गावत संतत संभु भवानी। अरु घटसंभव मुनि बिग्यानी॥ ब्यास आदि कबिबर्ज बखानी। कागभुसुंडि गरुड़ के ही की॥

Gaavat santat Sambhu Bhavani, Aru Ghatsambhav muni bigyaani. Byaas aadi kabibarj bakhaani, Kaagbhusundi Garud ke hi ki.

Shambhu and Bhavani sing it always, as does the wise sage Agastya; Vyasa and the great poets have praised it, and it is the very heart of Kakbhushundi and Garuda.

कलिमल हरनि बिषय रस फीकी। सुभग सिंगार मुक्ति जुबती की॥ दलन रोग भव मूरि अमी की। तात मात सब बिधि तुलसी की॥ आरती श्री रामायण जी की॥

Kalimal harani bishay ras pheeki, Subhag singaar mukti jubati ki. Dalan rog bhav moori ami ki, Taat maat sab bidhi Tulsi ki. Aarti Shri Ramayan ji ki.

It removes the impurity of the Kali age and makes the pleasures of the senses tasteless; it is the lovely ornament of maiden Liberation. It is the nectar-root that destroys the disease of worldly life, and to Tulsi it is father and mother in every way.
