Shri Ramachandra kripalu bhaju man harana bhava-bhaya darunam, Nava-kanja lochana kanja mukha kara kanja pada kanjarunam.

O mind, worship the compassionate Shri Ramachandra, who takes away the terrible fear of worldly existence; his eyes are like fresh lotuses, his face, hands and feet like red lotuses.

कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि नवनील नीरद सुन्दरं। पटपीत मानहुँ तडित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरं॥

Kandarpa aganita amita chhavi nava-neela neerada sundaram, Pata-peeta manahun tadita ruchi shuchi naumi Janaka-sutavaram.

His beauty surpasses countless Kamadevas; he is lovely as a fresh dark rain cloud, and his yellow robe shines like lightning. I bow to the pure husband of Janaka's daughter.

Worship the friend of the humble, the sun that destroys the clans of demons; the joy of the Raghus, the root of bliss, the moon of Koshala, the son of Dasharatha.

A crown on his head, earrings, a lovely tilak and fine ornaments on his noble limbs; his arms reach his knees, he holds bow and arrow, and he conquered Khara and Dushana in battle.

इति वदति तुलसीदास शङ्कर शेष मुनि मन रञ्जनं। मम हृदय कञ्ज निवास कुरु कामादि खलदल गञ्जनं॥

Iti vadati Tulasidasa Shankara Shesha muni mana ranjanam, Mama hridaya kanja nivasa kuru kamadi khala-dala ganjanam.

So says Tulsidas: O delight of the hearts of Shankar, Shesha and the sages, destroyer of the wicked hosts of desire and the other passions, make your home in the lotus of my heart.

Manu jahin racheu milihi so baru sahaja sundara saanvaro, Karuna nidhana sujana seelu sanehu janata raavaro. Ehi bhanti Gauri asees suni Siya sahita hiyan harasheen ali, Tulasi Bhavanihi pooji puni puni mudita mana mandira chali.

Gauri blesses Sita: The naturally beautiful, dark one on whom your heart is set will be yours; he is a treasury of compassion and all-knowing, and knows your goodness and love. Hearing this blessing, Sita and her friends rejoiced; worshipping Bhavani again and again, says Tulsi, she went back to the palace with a happy heart.

सोरठा

जानि गौरि अनुकूल सिय हिय हरषु न जाइ कहि। मंजुल मंगल मूल बाम अंग फरकन लगे॥

Jaani Gauri anukoola Siya hiya harashu na jaai kahi, Manjula mangala moola baama anga pharakana lage.

Knowing Gauri to be gracious, Sita's joy could not be described, and her left limbs, sweet roots of good fortune, began to throb with auspicious omens.
