At Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, the new Shri Ram Mandir enshrines Ram Lalla, Shri Ram as a child, in a grand Nagara-style temple of pink sandstone.

इतिहास History
Ayodhya, on the Sarayu, is revered as the birthplace of Shri Ram and is one of the seven Moksha-puris.
The new temple was designed by the Sompura family of temple architects and consecrated in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on 22 January 2024. Sculptor Arun Yogiraj carved the Ram Lalla murti, and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust manages the temple.
कथा The legend
King Dasharatha of Ayodhya performed the putrakameshti yajna and was blessed with four sons. Shri Ram was born on Chaitra Shukla Navami, celebrated as Ram Navami, when sunlight is now guided onto Ram Lalla's forehead as a 'Surya Tilak'.
