About the Achyutashtakam
The opening verse of Adi Shankaracharya's Achyutashtakam, Achyutam Keshavam Rama Narayanam, is one of the most sung lines in all of Hindu devotion and the refrain of the popular Achyutam Keshavam bhajan. The eight verses string together the names of Vishnu, Krishna and Rama: the beloved of the gopis, the Lord of Janaki, the protector of Draupadi, the boy who played on the Yamuna's banks.
