इतिहास History
The Hindu Temple of Atlanta was established on 19 October 1984 in Riverdale, south of the city, in a style that closely follows the temples of the Pandya kingdom. Its first and larger shrine is for Lord Venkateswara.
A second complex, for Shiva, was consecrated in 2007; because it stands beside Venkateswara's temple, Shiva here is called Ramalingeswara. Just off I-75 and about nine miles from Hartsfield-Jackson airport, the temple draws devotees from across the South and Midwest as well as Atlanta.
