सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके। शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते॥

Sarva-mangala-mangalye Shive sarvartha-sadhike, Sharanye Tryambake Gauri Narayani namostu te.

O auspiciousness of all that is auspicious, O gracious one who fulfils every aim, O refuge of all, three-eyed Gauri, O Narayani: salutations to You.

ॐ दुं दुर्गायै नमः॥

Om Dum Durgayai Namah.

Om, with the seed syllable Dum, I bow to Durga.

शरणागतदीनार्तपरित्राणपरायणे। सर्वस्यार्तिहरे देवि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते॥

Sharanagata-deenarta-paritrana-parayane, Sarvasyarti-hare Devi Narayani namostu te.

O Devi, ever intent on rescuing the helpless and suffering who come to You for refuge, You who take away everyone's pain: O Narayani, salutations to You.

सर्वाबाधाविनिर्मुक्तो धनधान्यसुतान्वितः। मनुष्यो मत्प्रसादेन भविष्यति न संशयः॥

Sarva-badha-vinirmukto dhana-dhanya-sutanvitah, Manushyo mat-prasadena bhavishyati na samshayah.

The Goddess promises: by My grace a person will be freed from every obstacle and blessed with wealth, grain and children. Of this there is no doubt.
